What is a virtual conference? A Virtual conference is essentially a conference that takes place online. The Creative Living and Learning Conference is a conference that takes place only online. This allows you to reap the benefits of this conference without having to go through the whole process of getting out of bed, getting on a plane, flying to the conference location, paying for a hotel, paying for meals, and paying for the conference registration. Instead of doing all of that, you get out of bed, you turn on your computer…and that’s it. We use a type of software hat allows you to hear the speaker, and see the powerpoint presentations he/she is giving. Each session is taught live, this allows the audience to ask questions of the speaker live. While it is taught live, it is also being recorded, so you can go to the website after the conference is over, and download a copy of any workshop that you didn’t get to hear, or would like to listen to again
How Does it Work?
We use a software that allows us to host live conferences as well as record our conference workshops for you to listen/view later. When you register for the conference and pay via paypal, we will take your name and email and put you into our records. About a week before the conference starts, you will receive and email with a link to the conference. Then, the day of the conference, you will receive another email with a link to the virtual conference room. Click the link, and then just wait for the conference to start. Its that easy! You are not required to download any software, everything works right from inside your internet browser.
